Business Development Intern (Cybersecurity)
At Gemini Security, we protect businesses from malicious bot traffic that can lead to fraud, account takeovers, credential stuffing, web scraping, and revenue loss.
As a Business Development Intern, you’ll support our go-to-market efforts, learn how to translate complex security tech into clear value, and help us reach the right customers.
This internship is ideal for someone with technical curiosity, strong communication skills, and a budding interest in cybersecurity and GTM strategy.
The Role: Your Mission
You’ll be a hands-on contributor who learns by doing. Working closely with founders, product, and our first customers, you’ll help research markets, prepare sales materials, and support outreach and discovery. Expect a mix of research, writing, analysis, and customer-facing exposure—with mentorship and clear learning goals.
What You’ll Do
- Market Research & ICP Support: Assist in researching our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), segments, and competitors. Summarize insights and propose target lists.
- Messaging & Collateral: Help turn technical features into clear value propositions. Draft one-pagers, refine pitch deck slides, and prepare demo talk tracks.
- Sales Toolkit Support: Contribute to battlecards, FAQs, email sequences, and lightweight case study outlines based on real calls and feedback.
- Customer Exposure: Shadow founder-led discovery calls and demos; capture notes, highlight objections, and document product feedback for engineering.
- Prospecting & Outreach: Build prospect lists, research accounts, and support personalized outreach experiments across channels.
- Pipeline Operations: Keep CRM entries tidy, track experiments, measure response rates, and suggest simple improvements to our early process.

Requirements
- Student or Recent Graduate in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar; or equivalent practical experience.
- Analytical & Curious: Comfortable with research, spreadsheets, and turning qualitative notes into structured takeaways.
- Clear Communicator: Strong writing skills in short, precise formats (slides, emails, one-pagers).
- Team Player: Organized, reliable, and proactive in a fast-moving environment.
- Languages: Full professional fluency in Italian and conversational English.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or infrastructure software.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or data enrichment tools.
- Experience with ABM, pricing research, or sales engineering coursework/projects.
